TGT and TGW group have been monitoring Arsenal's transfer activity very closely. We understand there have been developments in Germany over move for Aubameyang and Arsenal have made contact. Talks are being held over his price tag and a deal could be agreed. Arsène Wenger keeps stressing the fact that it is difficult to find good quality players in January but it seems like the Arsenal boss has found a way to lure the 26-year-old striker to the Emirates.
Various media outlets also confirmed that Arsenal held talks with Dortmund over a £42 million deal for Aubameyang. Arsenal will have to react fast since a number of clubs in Europe are continuously monitoring his situation.
Arsenal are heading towards a very busy period of the season, with the gunners competing in three different competitions. Rotation will play a key role in maintaining a healthy squad while progressing in all competitions. Playing youngsters in the Capital One Cup backfired and Arsène is well aware of the fact that he cannot rely on Giroud to play in all competitions, risking an injury while challenging for the title. Another fact that makes Aubameyang the perfect fit is that he is eligible to play in the Champions League, since Dortmund failed to qualify to Europe.
With Welbeck on the sidelines, Aubameyang provides the necessary cover and along with Giroud, Arsenal will have two good strikers, which could prove essential in winning the title.
