Preparing for Sunday's big match at the Anfield, Arsenal have a few injury concerns. With defender Laurent Koscielny yet to start this season, Arsenal's list of injured players is growing considerably. Koscielny however, will be fit for the match on Sunday. The main concern is whether Szczesny can start or not. The latest report says that Arsene Wenger will prefer Vito Mannone in goal as Szczesny still hasn't fully recovered from his rib problem. Mannone had a decent game against Stoke and Arsenal fans would hope that he replicates that performance.
With Koscielny back in the squad, Arsenal's defence looks solid. Vermaelen and Koscielny is one of the best CB pairs in the league. Bacary Sagna is still weeks away from his return, so Carl Jenkinson will continue to start as right-back. He may not be too reliable and in fact, it is possibly the only week link in Arsenal's defence right now. Kieran Gibbs has improved a lot and with Steve Bould in charge, it all looks good for Arsenal.
Other than that, Wilshere is still recovering from his ankle injury, Fabianski out with back injury should be fit in a week, Rosicky (Tendon) will resume training properly in about 3 weeks and Frimpong (Knee) also needs 3 more weeks to resume training.
Probable Starting XI: Mannone; Jenkinson, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs; Diaby, Arteta, Cazorla, Chamberlain; Podolski, Giroud.
